Campers will delight in days filled with Mo Willems’ most loved characters. On 4/06, your little actor can join us for Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, and on 4/07, we will be exploring Elephant and Piggie and Friends. Fun illustrations will be brought to life and campers will use these hilarious stories to inspire their own characters and plots. Through drama games and exercises, students will explore these books as well as other Willems classics. Each day, students will be exploring different books and themes.

Mini camps are based on a popular theme, allowing students to enter the worlds of their pop-culture interest through creative and imaginative play, all while learning fundamental acting skills.

Students may sign up for just one day or BOTH days depending on your childcare needs. If students participate in both days, they will receive a discounted rate on the second day of camp (applied at check out).

Each day will be different – exploring new books, ideas, concepts, crafts, and games!

NCT’s focus is always the healthy development of young people. We believe that the skills that students learn in the process of creative play will serve them in their everyday lives as well as provide a foundation if they choose to continue to more theatre work (which we hope they do!).

NCT offers free extended care for our families. Before Care opens at 7:30 a.m. and After Care closes at 5:30 p.m. You can add this service during registration or on a day-to-day basis during the camp week. Extended care consists of supervised unstructured free time. Students are welcome to bring a book or electronic device (that NCT is not responsible for). During after care, we will also have a daily option of a G or PG-rated children’s movie playing as an activity choice.
