It’s bedtime—but sleep can wait when imagination takes over! Two siblings transform their room into a topsy-turvy wonderland where gloves swim like fish, shirts growl like beasts, and socks groove in a closet dance party. Designed especially for our youngest theatre-goers, this playful, participatory piece invites children ages 0–5 to giggle, wiggle, and explore a world turned delightfully inside out… and backwards

Potentially Anxious Moments
More InformationChildren engage in playful, imaginative games such as hide-and-seek and pretend scares. They create a silly “bedtime monster” using blankets and bedding. At one point, the brother temporarily misplaces his special hat, which causes him to feel sad.
Other Things to Know
The experience begins with a short prologue in the lobby, where the actors greet the audience in character before guiding them into the performance space. This production is part of NCT’s Snuggery series, specially designed to be immersive, interactive, and developmentally appropriate for children ages 0–5 and their families. It’s a wiggle-welcome zone—movement, sound, and curiosity are embraced. The performance is intentionally brief to suit young attention spans and does not include an intermission.
Social Story
A Social Story is a tool to help improve a child’s understanding of expectations during an unfamiliar event. They were originally designed to support neurodivergent individuals. However, this can be a useful tool for any person who is unsure about what to expect from a new experience.

Unique preshow lobby activities that explore the show's themes are available for the entire family to enjoy an hour before every performance.
Not a Bad Seat in the House
Whether you're tall or small, there's not a bad seat in the auditorium. Booster seats are available so everyone can see the magic.

Our ‘chill corner’ is a place where students can take a break if an game is becoming too over-stimulating. Noise-reducing headphones are also available.

Class Expectations
All classes utilize verbal as well as discussed written expectations so students understand classroom behavioral expectations
Class Nametags
All class nametags are printed in the color and have the name of the class color printed on them for colorblind students.
