From the loyal Horton the Elephant, who hears a faint cry for help on a speck of dust, to the mischievous Cat in the Hat guiding us through unexpected adventures, this musical brings to life tales like Horton Hears a Who!, Gertrude McFuzz, and The Cat in the Hat. With a dynamic score blending pop, gospel, blues, and R&B, audiences of all ages are invited to explore themes of friendship, loyalty, and the power of “thinks.” Whether you’re young or young at heart, Seussical promises a heartwarming experience that celebrates the unique qualities in each of us.

This play is based on the works of Dr. Seuss and inspired by specific books, including characters, themes, and references to Horton Hears a Who!, Gertrude McFuzz, The Cat in the Hat, Oh, the Thinks You Can Think!, and more. There will not be an intermission.

Each NCT production schedules a Neuro-Inclusive Performance, ASL Interpreted Performance, and Discovery Day (Post Show Q&A) so everyone can enjoy.

Before You Take Your Seat

Unique preshow lobby activities that explore the show's themes are available for the entire family to enjoy an hour before every performance.

Not a Bad Seat in the House

Whether you're tall or small, there's not a bad seat in the auditorium. Booster seats are available so everyone can see the magic.

All classes utilize verbal as well as discussed written expectations so students understand classroom behavioral expectations

All class nametags are printed in the color and have the name of the class color printed on them for colorblind students.
