After you’ve completed step 1 above by filling out the field trip request form, here’s what’s next:

When your field trip is officially booked* you and your bookkeeper will receive a confirmation email from NCT.

*The field trip is not officially booked until you receive a confirmation. The confirmation will have the date, time, and estimated total for the field trip. Attached to the confirmation are the NCT Official Payment Plan Form and the Field Trip Guide which detail our policies and procedures.  Once confirmed you will be responsible for payment. Any cancellations or adjustments ( head count) must be made in writing no less than 30 days before the date of your field trip.

30 days prior to your field trip you must submit your final headcount and payment or payment plan form for your field trip. If your school cannot submit payment 30 days in advance you must establish a payment plan in writing with Nashville Children’s Theatre prior to this 30 days deadline.

ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST OCCUR BEFORE THE 30 DAY DEADLINE AND THEY MUST BE SUBMITTED IN
WRITING.  FAILURE TO CANCEL OR MODIFY FIELD TRIP PRIOR DAYS WILL RESULT IN A CANCELLATION FEE, (50% OF TOTAL COST).

A Social Story is a tool to help improve a child’s understanding of expectations during an unfamiliar event. They were originally designed to support neurodivergent individuals. However, this can be a useful tool for any person who is unsure about what to expect from a new experience.
