Drama School is designed as a year-round progression of experiences that allow students to build skills, apply them in performance, and continue growing as artists. Whether students are joining us for the first time or returning for another season, each semester offers new opportunities to learn, perform, and grow.

Fall Semester - Company In-Studio
Build the Foundation

The fall semester focuses on training.
Students develop acting, voice, movement, theatre literacy, and ensemble skills while working with professional teaching artists in a supportive environment.
Rather than rehearsing a full production, students spend the semester strengthening the tools every performer needs.

Winter Showcase

The semester culminates in a Winter Showcase where students share scenes, songs, and performance work with family and friends, celebrating the growth they’ve made throughout the semester.

Recommended for students who want to build confidence, strengthen their skills, and prepare for future performance opportunities.

Spring Semester - Company On-Stage
Bring Stories to Life

During the spring semester, students take everything they’ve learned and apply it to a fully produced show. Working alongside professional teaching artists, Company students experience auditions, rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and public performances while continuing to grow as actors, collaborators, and storytellers.
Every production provides students with the opportunity to experience the complete theatrical process from first rehearsal to final curtain. 

Recommended for students ready to bring their training to the stage.
Registration for Company On-Stage opens in November. Priority Registration will be given to students who completed Company In-Studio during Fall semester

Summer Company
Production Camps

Summer is where young performers put everything into practice through immersive musical theatre production camps.
Students spend multiple weeks rehearsing and performing a fully produced musical while working with professional directors, choreographers, music directors, and teaching artists.
Company Production Camps are offered in three age-based levels, allowing students to continue growing with peers at similar stages of development.
Kids Company
Junior Artists Company
Emerging Artists Company
No audition is required.
Registration for Summer Camps will open in December.

Advanced Performance Opportunities

Students looking for an additional artistic challenge may audition for one of Drama School’s advanced performance opportunities.

Encore Company
Develop the Craft. Share the Stage.

Encore Company is NCT Education’s audition-based musical theatre ensemble for students ages 10–18 who are ready to deepen their training and challenge themselves as performers.
Designed as a two-semester experience, Encore Company combines focused instruction in acting, singing, and dance with the excitement of rehearsing and performing a fully produced musical. Students build artistry, discipline, collaboration, and confidence while becoming part of a dedicated ensemble.
More than preparing for a production, Encore Company is about taking creative risks, supporting one another, and growing together as artists. 
Recommended for students ages 10–18 with previous musical theatre or performance experience. Advanced performers of all backgrounds are encouraged to audition.
